Kaji Mundo works with natural dye farmers, harvesters and makers around Asia to develop small batch natural color ranges for screen printing and painting. All pigments are tested by Kaji Mundo in a multi-month process. The natural pigments can be mixed with Kaji Mundo's natural ink base or you can experiment using them with your favourite art medium.
  • 10 grams Denim Blue (Indigofera tinctoria leaf with alum salts). Grown in central Java, processed in Yogyakarta by female engineer Ibu Edia (Gama Indigo), and developed for print and painting Kaji Mundo.
  • 10 grams Dark Blue (Indigofera tinctoria leaf). Grown and extracted in India, GOTS Certified, developed for print and painting by Kaji Mundo.
  • 10 grams Salty Rust (Ceriops tagal bark extract). Responsibly harvested from Indonesia's only Forest Stewardship Council certified mangrove concession, processed into an extract by communities around the forest, and developed for print and painting by Kaji Mundo.
Colors are available for purchase individually or as part of a set. Ink mixing instructions included.
