There are at least six important textiles used by the ethnic group To Mangki on the western mountain range of Toraja in west Sulawesi. This traditional pori londong is a single panel with a mix of ikat motifs.

Pori means ikat and londong means long cloth which would be used for ceremonies such as a funeral procession where the cloth would be carried above the heads of family members, ceremonially connecting them to the deceased.

There are four motifs which repeated as a mirror image from head to foot. The bottom motif is called lelen sepu' situtu' . Lelen means string or rope and sepu’ means betelnut bag, while situtu' refers to how the motif is shut or closed at the end.It is said to symbolize our interdependence with others. When betelnut is exchanged it shows respect and the intention to find a harmonious outcome in the ensuing conversation. The second motif is tobo alang, tobo means pattern and alang refers to the traditional rice barn. This motif would be found on the intricately carved rice barns as well as on textiles, a reference to the importance of storing food after a harvest and a reminder "to gather the fruits of your labor". The third is tosso balekoan which translates as a niddy noddy with buffalo which within the tradition of this group. The fourth is ulukarua refers to the eight traditional leaders who are responsible for a particular aspect of community life, such as ritual, land administration, agricultural cycles, and social relationships.
