Light Rain Bed Set

The exquisite hand drawn antique batik used in this bed throw and pillow set has been repurposed to delight another generation or two. We have hand sewn the old batik on a newly made handspun handwoven mud dyed cloth from Java to maintain consistency of location. There are a few signs of its age and use that are lovingly hand stitched. The motifs on this stunning batik is called udan liris or light rain. Udan liris is a fertility symbol related to agriculture.
