This textile is made by weavers from the cooperative Karya Sari Warna Alam in Seraya, Karangasem. It is usually worn as a sash. Threads of life works with farmers and weavers across Bali to re-establish natural-dye and sacred weaving traditions. These textiles are now highly sought after by the Balinese public which serves to revitalize the role played by these textile in the island's cultural life.

The threads are all natural dyed and woven on a traditional backstrap loom.
