After 22 years in central Ubud, we are opening a second gallery in Jalan Raya Lungsiakan.
Where our first store emphasizes our social enterprise credentials, this new and much larger space invites us to display the textiles and crafts of the communities we work with in a new way. When you visit, we invite you to open the many drawers that contain a range of textiles from Bali to Timor. Looking around you, the gallery allows you to see how to incorporate textiles as art in your home as wall hangings or interior accents. The Tradition Keeper films are available on a big-screen TV and there is a couch where you can sit comfortably and watch at your leisure with a cup of tea.
Threads of Life Gallery in Lungsiakan offers a space and opportunity to connect with our beloved old and new friends. For that, we are very grateful.
