The motif on this textile is called ma'kaif refers to a hooked pattern that represents interconnectedness. This cushion is made up of the traditional cloth using a supplementary warp wrap technique made by the weavers of Benlutu on the island of Timor. The linen back panel of this cushion cover has been dyed black using a complex mud dye technique.

These handmade natural dyed cushions would be exquisite on a couch, chair or bed. Each cushion cover comes with an inner lining with zipper so all that is required is for you to add the dacron and enjoy your handmade pillow.
