This hand drawn batik we call Reflections and brings up images of water shimmering in rice fields.The designs are made by a skilled batik artists drawing freehand on cloth using wax flowing from the top of small pen. Blue dye is then applied to the unwaxed areas and followed by the application of brown rust soga dyes which are comprised from three different plants and barks. The overdye of brown on the blue creates a dark backdrop that brings the drawing to life.

This will be a beautiful table cloth or wall hanging or wear it out one night and watch the attention it will draw!
