The tobo alang which refers to the carvings on a rice barn. Rice barns are always paired with a traditional house and are important for storing crops for a family household. The motif is a reference to sharing the fruits of our harvest or success with our families and community.

Selendang or shoulder scarf is a single panel textile that is made with ikat motifs using the red, blues and blacks of a sekomandi made by weavers in central Sulawesi who call themselves To Mangki Karataun. A textile like this is tied, dyed and woven by a single woman and the sale of the textile represents significant income in this remote area of Sulawesi.
