This cushion is made up of the traditional cloth using a ikat technique made by the weavers of Amanuban on the island of Timor. The back panel is made from handspun cotton woven on a backstrap loom and dyed to a deep rust using sustainably harvested Ceriops tagal bark from Papua.
The motif on this textile is called ma'kaif refers to a hooked pattern that represents interconnectedness.
These handmade natural dyed cushions would be exquisite on a couch, chair or bed. Each cushion cover comes with an inner lining with zipper so all that is required is for you to add the Dacron and enjoy your handmade pillow.
