The beautifully balanced combination of pastel hues and darker tones in this women’s sarung is truly impressive.

The center panel, or badan, contains flowers and birds that flit among a background of delicate leaves and tendrils. The traditional double border featuring the small siret strip at the edge and the floral vine above is said to protect the wearer. This antique batik is in excellent condition.
