This cushion cover is crafted entirely from a single traditional cloth called rangrang. In Balinese, the word rangrang translates to "space" or "hole." Traditionally, rangrang textiles were utilized in ritual dances, where the holes symbolized the space through which the dancer could connect with the deities, while the closed sections ensured her presence in the earthly realm. A slit tapestry weave technique is employed to create this intricate open pattern, with each design individually crafted by the weaver.

Each cushion has an inner lining so all you need to do is fill it with Dacron and you are ready to enjoy this beautiful handmade pillow.
