This stunning cushion cover is made from handwoven textiles from Sumba from the well known weaving centre of Rindi. The ikat motif on the front panel cushion is called manu walu or rooster. Roosters are symbolic of noble people as they are thought to have the ability to lead with wisdom. The solid coloured backing is made by the weavers from Hamba Parengu in East Sumba using the brilliant indigo dye process of which they are famous.

This cushion would be exquisite on a couch, chair or bed. Each cushion cover comes with an inner lining with zipper so all that is required is for you to add the Dacron and enjoy your handmade pillow.
