Motifs on this stunning batik from Yogjakarta include traditional house or mosque. Motifs include garuda wings and the other animal patterns. The background is that of plant tendrils. The traditional borders with gigi walang or cricket teeth are said to have protective qualities for the wearer. This cloth has never been worn so in excellent condition.
