This batik signed by NJ Sie Djien Soen is an exceptionally long cloth and extremely well crafted. Tiga negri refers to three regions where this cloth was worked on; red from Lasem, blue Pekalongan and brown soga dye from Central Java. Motifs on the cloth contain peacocks in full display along with exquisite birds of paradise and herons along with swallows. Excellent batik work. With traditional double borders for protection gigi walang and vines. Very good condition with some small holes in the folds.
