This batik signed by Tjoa Siang Swie is an exceptionally long cloth and is very finely crafted. Tiga negri refers to three regions where this cloth was worked on; red from Lasem, blue Pekalongan and brown soga dye from Central Java. The motifs include wild flowers along with birds of paradise, shrimp and ducks or swans It contains the protective traditional double borders of the striped lines and the triangles of gigi walang with a vine border above. Excellent condition.
