This hand drawn batik textile displays a series of beetles. The brown color is made from soga dyes, which is a mix of three different species of trees. The deep background is an overdye of indigo and brown soga colors. This unique batik can be washed by hand with a gentle soap and hung to dry. Textiles are meant to be lived with and be enjoyed.
