This classic natural dyed, hand woven blanket is locally called a Mau Naek used as a man's hip wrap. Pieces of art such as this are wonderful to live with. Let it adorn your bed, or wall or even wrap up in it on a chilly night.

The textiles of Miomafo area in west Timor are renown for their indigo work with intricate ikat. The prominent motif on this textiles is called ane mnutu refers to the fine grains of rice. As corn and sorghum are the local staple food crops in these dry islands, rice is still seen as a luxury item since it was imported into Timor.

This exquisite textile is nice for wall hanging or used as throw.
